The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Marketplace Performance Specialist to own the data and insights for our Amazon and Flipkart advertising efforts. Your primary role will be to conduct deep analysis of our campaigns, keyword performance, and competitive landscape to identify key levers for growth. You will be the strategic brain behind our marketplace success, providing the actionable intelligence our team needs to drive revenue and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep-Dive Analysis:
    Conduct thorough analysis of keyword performance, search term reports, ad placements, and campaign types to identify optimization opportunities and risks.
  • Strategic Recommendations:
    Develop data-backed strategies to improve key metrics like Total Advertising Cost of Sale (TACoS), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and market share on both Amazon and Flipkart.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor and report on campaign performance, budget pacing, and keyword ranking, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
    Analyze competitor strategies and category trends to ensure our advertising efforts remain competitive and effective.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing team and/or agency partners to guide campaign execution based on your analysis, ensuring strategies are implemented correctly.
  • Reporting:
    Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a clear view of marketplace advertising performance and business impact.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience focused on Amazon Advertising and/or Flipkart Ads.
  • Amazon Ads Certification is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud)
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights. You are an expert in understanding what the numbers mean.
  • Deep, strategic knowledge of the Amazon and Flipkart advertising platforms, including various ad types (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display).
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace metrics (TACoS, ACoS, CVR, etc.) and how they impact business goals.
