Operator/Shift Incharge

Role Overview:

Gustora Foods is on the lookout for a Operator and Shift Incharge to join our manufacturing Unit

Key Responsibilities:

Operator

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures and product specifications. Supply raw material or parts to the machines as required.
• Quality Control: Inspect and check finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize performance and maintain quality.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot minor operational issues and report significant equipment issues to the Shift Incharge or Maintenance team.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Documentation: Record production logs, including material usage, output, quantity, downtime, and quality control records

Shift Incharge

• Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, lead, and motivate the shift team, including Operators and other personnel. Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts.
• Production Oversight: Oversee daily production activities to ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production protocols. Coordinate the workflow and processes to meet output goals and production schedules.
• Quality & Safety: Implement and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and quality control measures. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Resolve operational issues and equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and production delays. Coordinate with the maintenance team for necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and maintain detailed shift reports, documenting key activities, production statistics, and performance metrics. Facilitate effective communication between shifts to ensure continuity of operations

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or operator role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, operational efficiency, and safety protocols.
• Basic technical knowledge of production machinery operation, maintenance, and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork skills.

Artisanal production methods using Italian technology - we are able to retain all the nutrients, rich in Dietary Fibre & Protein.

Slow Drying process: once extruded, our Pasta is dried using controlled temperature, humidity and moisture in static cabins for upto 22 hours. Slow drying ensures that the pasta does not break/stick & retains its shape after boiling and cooking.
