Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounts (Primary Focus)

  • Process vendor invoices with complete verification of supporting documents and approvals.
  • Verify GST, TDS applicability and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice clarifications and ensure timely submissions.
  • Prepare vendor payment proposals and maintain payment status trackers.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable records, ageing analysis and vendor outstanding reports.
  • Assist in vendor reconciliations and resolve mismatches or disputes.
  • Support month-end closing activities including accrual entries and expense tracking.
  • Upload financial documentation and maintain organized records in ERP/Tally/e-Works systems.
  • Prepare MIS reports such as expense summaries, budget vs. actuals, and management dashboards.
  • Provide timely support during internal, statutory and tax audits with accurate documentation and explanations.

Procurement Support (Role Expansion Area)

  • Assist in collecting purchase requirements from internal teams.
  • Support in obtaining vendor quotations and maintain an updated quotation database.
  • Prepare basic procurement documents including PRs, PO drafts, comparison sheets, and approval notes.
  • Coordinate with vendors for documentation, follow-ups, and commercial clarifications.
  • Maintain procurement records with proper documentation and approval trails.
  • Gradually assume procurement workflow ownership based on training, exposure, and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or Finance

    (B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance preferred)

Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance & Accounts.
  • Basic exposure to procurement or willingness to learn procurement operations.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of AP cycle, invoice verification, and financial documentation.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and vendor taxation rules.
  • Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally Prime, ERP/e-Works.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and disciplined documentation practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and readiness to grow into procurement responsibilities.
