1. Semiconductor Design:

  • Design and develop MCUs and MPUs for performance, low power, and reliability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate components into integrated circuits (ICs) and ensure compatibility.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, circuit diagrams, and test plans.

2. Semiconductor Testing:

  • Perform testing and validation of MCUs, MPUs, and other semiconductor devices.
  • Develop test plans, troubleshoot, and debug systems to identify issues.
  • Use testing equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for signal integrity and performance analysis.

3. Procurement:

  • Manage procurement of semiconductor components (MCUs, MPUs) from global suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance through supplier evaluation.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure components meet specifications.

4. MCU/MPU Integration:

  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate MCUs/MPUs into systems.
  • Ensure compatibility and optimize embedded software for efficient performance.
  • Conduct integration testing to verify system functionality.

5. R&D:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in semiconductor technology.
  • Participate in R&D initiatives to improve the functionality and performance of semiconductor devices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 - 9 years in semiconductor design, testing, procurement, or MCU/MPU development.

  • Skills:

  • Design: Experience with MCUs, MPUs, and tools like Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or Altium.

  • Embedded Systems: Strong knowledge of embedded system design, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and software.
  • Testing: Experience with semiconductor testing and tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Procurement: Knowledge of semiconductor sourcing and vendor management.
  • Programming: Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Verilog/VHDL.

  • Manufacturing: Understanding of semiconductor processes and quality control.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • IEEE or related semiconductor certifications.

  • CSCP or similar procurement certifications.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with ASIC/FPGA design.
  • Knowledge of low-power design, automotive, IoT, or consumer electronics applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies.
