DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MANAGER-EVENTS.

You are required to perform the duties and responsibilities related to your position at any division, department or section in the Association. Your current work location shall be at AIPMA Office in Mumbai. The following is a gist of your work profile.

Manager-Events is tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing AIPMA events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, event marketing including securing sponsorships, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event objectives. Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist AIPMA in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing relations with industry members, and improve AIPMAs revenue growth through events.

This job requires effective organizational abilities, good interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and excellent time-management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts (Both physical and virtual events)
  • Handling budgeting and invoicing.
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors.
  • Negotiating sponsorship deals.
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Handling promotional strategy including design, social media marketing etc.
  • Handle operations including speaker management
  • Handling logistics.
  • Regularly updating senior management.
  • Managing branding and communication.
  • Developing event feedback surveys.
  • Obtaining permits, if required.
  • Handling post-event reports.
