Role & responsibilities:

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead and manage all activities related to Environmental Clearances (EC) for residential and commercial projects. The role involves coordinating with environmental consultants, government bodies, and internal teams to ensure timely approvals and full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the complete process for obtaining Environmental Clearances (EC) and related NOCs from SEIAA, MOEFCC, MPCB, and other statutory authorities.
  • Liaise with environmental consultants, architects, and project teams to prepare required documentation and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental norms, including air, water, noise, and waste management standards.
  • Oversee submission of applications, follow-ups, and representation before regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of environmental laws, EIA notifications, and local development control rules.
  • Coordinate periodic environmental audits and ensure adherence to conditions stipulated in EC.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key officials and government departments for smooth processing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and status tracking for all EC-related approvals across projects.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in handling Environment Clearance processes in real estate, infrastructure, or consulting firms.
  • Strong understanding of MOEFCC, SEIAA, MPCB procedures and compliance norms.
  • Excellent coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
