Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repair:

  2. Assist in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.

  3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.

  4. Assist in diagnosing mechanical faults and determining appropriate solutions.

  5. Preventive Maintenance:

  6. Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

  7. Lubricate and clean machinery and equipment as part of regular maintenance routines.

  8. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.

  9. Troubleshooting:

  10. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and provide solutions in a timely manner.

  11. Work closely with senior engineers and technicians to understand complex mechanical issues.

  12. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and ensure proper repairs.

  13. Installation and Commissioning:

  14. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

  15. Ensure all installations comply with safety and operational standards.

  16. Safety and Compliance:

  17. Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

  18. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  19. Participate in safety training and drills.

  20. Continuous Improvement:

  21. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

  22. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving equipment performance and reliability.

  23. Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

  24. Documentation and Reporting:

  25. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and downtime.

  26. Prepare and submit maintenance reports to the Maintenance Manager.

  27. Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts and tools.

  28. Team Collaboration:

  29. Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members and departments.

  30. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
  31. Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
