Job Role

  • Lead the Credit Control function to ensure timely collections, reduction in DSO, and robust cash flow by implementing effective policies and close coordination with the Sales team.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Drive collections and reduce DSO levels across business verticals.
  • Design, implement, and enforce credit control policies and procedures.
  • Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to align on credit terms and resolve disputes.
  • Monitor receivables and generate MIS/reports for management.
  • Forecast and ensure healthy cash inflows to support working capital needs.
  • Lead, guide, and strengthen the Credit Control team for high performance.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong expertise in credit control, collections, and receivables management.
  • Proven track record of reducing DSO and improving cash flow.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership with analytical and process-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in ERP/finance systems and MS Excel.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-8 years of experience in credit control/receivables, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in logistics/express/service industry .
  • Performance Metrics
  • Reduction in DSO.
  • Collection efficiency (%).
  • Cash flow improvement.
  • Team productivity.
