Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Executive to manage site-level material stocks for our construction projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, timely reporting, and coordination with procurement, accounts, and site teams to ensure uninterrupted project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily inward & outward of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, consumables, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile physical vs. system/ERP stock.
  • Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Raise material indents to avoid shortages and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
  • Verify GRNs, challans, and supplier invoices before submission to accounts.
  • Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safe storage of materials.
  • Handle inter-site material transfers and update documentation.
  • Support internal/external audits and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Implement best practices to reduce wastage and pilferage.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Diploma in Civil preferred.
  • 2–5 years' experience in inventory/stores management (construction industry preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP or other inventory tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under deadlines.
