Production Planner

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning:- Develop and maintain production schedules in Odoo ERP to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.

• Bill of Materials (BOM) Management:- Create, update, and manage BOMs in Odoo ERP to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements.

• Process Optimization:-Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet quality standards.

• Inventory Coordination:- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components.

• Data Management:- Maintain accurate data in Odoo ERP, including production orders, schedules, and inventory levels.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with production, procurement, and sales teams to align production plans with customer demand and business goals.

• -Reporting:- Generate and analyze reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.

• Compliance:- Ensure all planning activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production planning or a related role, preferably in furniture manufacturing or a similar industry.

-Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems for production planning and BOM management.

• Process Knowledge:- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production workflows.

• Language Skills:- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for clear communication and documentation.

• Analytical Skills:- Ability to analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve efficiency.

• Attention to Detail:- High level of accuracy in managing BOMs, schedules, and production data.

• Team Player:- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.

• Education:- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.

• Advanced knowledge of Odoo ERP modules related to manufacturing and inventory.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or process improvement methodologies.
