Job Description: Application Support Specialist (ERP, Netsuite)

Position Title: Application Support Specialist (ERP, Netsuite)

Department: Digital and Security

Reports To: ERP Program Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic Digital team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise application systems, with a particular focus on Oracle NetSuite ERP. This role is crucial in ensuring that our business operations are uninterrupted and that users have the necessary support to utilize these systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Post Go-Live Support
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users after system implementation.
  • Resolve application-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  1. Issue Resolution
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems reported by users.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain a log of issues and resolutions for future reference.
  1. User Training
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and use of application systems.
  • Create and maintain user manuals and training materials.
  1. System Maintenance
  • Ensure regular maintenance and updates of application systems to keep them current and functional.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with the IT team to implement enhancements and optimizations.
  1. Documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of application systems, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Document all support activities and resolutions.
  1. Collaboration
  • Work closely with Business Owners, System integration Specialists, and Project Coordinators to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support project initiatives and business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP is a must.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
  • Familiarity with database management and query languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Knowledge of system integration and data flow processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other enterprise application systems (e.g., PLM, MES, WMS,SRM, CRM).
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to support system updates and maintenance.
