Role: Finance & Controlling Business Analyst

Experience


• 7-8 years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting and implementation experience in the construction section and less on leasing
• Experience in driving closure of Fit- Gap workshops with business counter parts and put objective lense on SI steering across stages - build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Should able to successfully drive closure on test scripts covering functional processes validated with business owners/project managers and other business counter parts
• Experienced in providing business critical understanding on cross functional areas - specifically within the Real Estate and construction sector, addressing its unique complexities across RERA, GST & TDS compliances, RA bills, rate revisions, cash flow management, project financials & cash flow reporting etc.

Job Description


• Review and validate design documents, business process flows, functional specifications, user manuals, test scripts shared by implementation partner
• Execute transaction testing for finance processes (AP, AR, GL, AA, CO, Bank, Period End)
• Conduct integrated scenario testing with other business value streams including procurements, sales & distribution (CRM), projects, construction & budgeting, inventory management
• Validate data migration for master data (vendors, customers, GLs) and transactional data (AP & AR Open Item, GL Balances, Bank Open Items, Profit & Loss balances etc.)
• Train end users on FICO processes
• Finance & Controlling module skill requirements: o Organization Structure, Chart of Accounts, Account Groups, Financial Statements, Accounting standard compliance o Document Splitting, Parallel Ledger/Accounting Principles, Multi-Currency, Open Item Clearing, Foreign Exchange Revaluation, Reclassification, Period-End Closing. o Business Partner, Procure-to-Pay Finance, PO-based/Non-PO-based Procurement, Aging, Cash Discounts, Valuation Classes, Brokerages, Bank Guarantees, etc. o Milestone-based Customer Invoicing & GST Compliance, Customer Collections, Interest Income, Penalties, Dunning, Customer Order Cancellations, Payment Milestone Revisions, PDCs, Aging, etc. o Ready-to-use and Capital Project Procurement, Asset Sale, Depreciation, Asset Register. o Bank Master Data, Manual & Automated Incoming/Outgoing Payments, Cheque Payments, Manual & Electronic BRS, etc. o Cash Forecasting and Cash Position. o Cost Centre & Profit Centre Master Data, Cost Centre Budgeting, Actual Spend, Cost Allocations, etc.

Experience in Real Estate Finance & Controlling function


• Designing and implementation experience of Real estate specific finance processes including project supplier accounting, COP, RA bill, Rate revisions, customer token money & demand note accounting, project cost & cash flow management, revenue & cost recognition, common cost allocation, cash flow forecasting, annual operating plan, finance analytics etc
• Successfully executed cutover migration, including end-to-end historical data migration for closed and ongoing projects.
• Experience in cross function integrations with sales, procurement, projects, inventory, quality etc.
• Designed and implemented third-party integrations such as Bank Interfaces, HR Payroll etc.
• Developed management and operational reporting for Finance functions
