Role Summary

The Senior Consultant – SAP FICO is responsible for working on day to day support activities along with CRs within SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) space. This role ensures that financial systems and processes are optimized to support business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities:


• Lead the design, specification, and selection of SAP FICO solutions considering functionality, data integrity, security, system integration, infrastructure, and performance.


• Analyze and optimize financial processes, ensuring efficient and streamlined operations through SAP solutions.


• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement and develop strategies to implement them.


• Collaborate with key business stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and controlling teams, to ensure that SAP FICO solutions meet their requirements.


• Act as the primary point of contact for any SAP FICO-related inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective communication.


• Strong knowledge of core SAP FICO processes, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-PC and CCA.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications

Technical Competencies


• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-PC, and CCA.


• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


• Strong project management and documentation skills.


• Professional certification in SAP FICO or S/4HANA is preferred.

Qualifications, Experience & Certification


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.


• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience At least 3 years in SAP FICO implementation and support, with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.


• SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA


• SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates Certification (preferred)
