About Us :
The Souled Store is one India's fastest growing youth focused lifestyle brand. We started in 2013 as a homegrown Indian brand and today we are one of the largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and we are expanding across action figure backpacks and collectibles and are scaling in footwear and kidswear.
Although we are primarily an online brand, we've expanded in the offline retail space as we have 40 stores across India with plans for expansion pan India.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate – Legal with prior experience in the retail or apparel sector. You will be responsible for managing legal compliance, contracts, intellectual property, and risk mitigation across our fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, franchise/retail leases, licensing deals, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relevant to the retail/apparel industry (e.g., consumer protection, packaging and labeling, POS regulations, etc.).
Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Retail, HR, Finance, Marketing) to provide legal input on campaigns, partnerships, and store operations.
Liaise with external legal advisors and manage ongoing litigations or disputes.
Keep abreast of evolving regulations affecting retail and e-commerce operations and advise management accordingly.
Develop and implement internal legal processes and documentation systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.); registration with the Bar Council of India preferred.
2–3 years of relevant legal experience in the retail, apparel, or e-commerce space.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial law, and intellectual property in the context of a consumer brand.
Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and business-savvy approach to legal risk.
