Great Saturn Universal Private Limited is the legal services arm of Yogayatan Group, specializing in arbitration, dispute resolution, and corporate legal advisory.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Associate located in Mumbai. The Legal Associate will be responsible for legal document preparation, analyzing legal issues, and effective communication in the field of law.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years+ experience.
  • Willingness to travel within Mumbai and outside.
  • Knowledge of legal and arbitration matters related to real estate (e.g., land, properties, plots, ports, shipping, etc.) will be an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with a Solicitor firm.
  • Experience attending matters in City Civil Court and High Court.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Draft various legal documents, including contracts, notices, affidavits, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), agreements, deeds, declarations, powers of attorney (POA), etc.

·       Represent the company and attend hearings in various courts as needed.

·       Coordinate with external lawyers and legal counsels to address ongoing matters.

·       Liaise with government offices and authorities for legal requirements.

·       Monitor and handle litigation processes under various laws.

·       Execute tasks as directed by the Management and senior staff.

·       Provide legal support across multiple business functions and projects.

·       Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and policies affecting business operations.

·       Strong command of English and Marathi (both written and verbal).

·       Ability to interact independently with external stakeholders.

·       Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills.

·       Ability to follow strict timelines, multitask, and manage responsibilities efficiently.

Compensation:

·       The remuneration will be based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Additional Notes:

·       This is a full-time role. Legal retainerships are not permitted.
