Shift USA evening 6 pm -3:30 pm .

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our U.S. customers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in U.S. accounting principles, payroll processing (ADP), state-specific compliance, and invoice management. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure accurate financial records and timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management:

Prepare and raise invoices for U.S. customers based on collected timesheets and approved purchase orders.

Verify billing data, hours, and PO alignment before submission.

Track invoice payments and follow up on outstanding dues.

Payroll Administration:

Manage and process payroll through ADP or similar platforms.

Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations, taxes, and reporting requirements.

Maintain accurate employee compensation and deduction records.

Bookkeeping & Accounting:

Update and maintain books for all customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Compliance & Reporting:

Stay up to date with state-wise accounting, payroll, and tax compliance.

Prepare and submit necessary filings and documentation as per U.S. accounting standards.

Support audits and respond to compliance-related queries.

Coordination & Documentation:

Collect timesheets from employees and project managers.

Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure timely sharing of reports with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

3+ years of experience in U.S. accounting or payroll management.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, state-level tax, and payroll regulations.

Hands-on experience with ADP Payroll, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with time-tracking and invoicing systems.

Exposure to multi-state payroll processing and compliance.

Understanding of purchase order workflows and client billing cycles.
