The UTI Billing Executive is responsible for handling billing processes related to UTI patients(CGHS, ECHS, TPA And Ayushman) ensuring accurate claim preparation, timely submission, and coordination with the insurance desk for smooth settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process bills for UTI insurance patients as per guidelines.
  • Verify patient documents, approvals, and eligibility for UTI coverage.
  • Coordinate with the TPA desk / insurance desk for pre-authorization and final approval.
  • Submit claims within stipulated timelines and follow up for payments.
  • Maintain proper records of UTI billing, outstanding claims, and reconciliations.
  • Resolve billing queries, discrepancies, and rejections by coordinating with respective departments.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and UTI norms.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to UTI billing.
  • Support audit requirements by providing accurate data and documents.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, and insurance representatives regarding billing queries.

Qualifications & Skills:.

  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in hospital billing, preferably in insurance / TPA billing.
  • Good knowledge of UTI / government scheme billing process.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital billing software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
