The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior AI Developer to architect Ackrolix's AI future. You'll be our founding AI leader: building a high-performing AI team, translating client needs into cutting-edge AI solutions, and driving innovation in Agentic AI and Workflow Automation. This is a rare chance to shape an entire AI function and embed autonomous intelligence into our core services.

Key Responsibilities1. Build & Lead the AI Team

  • Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class AI team from zero (engineers, data scientists, ML specialists).
  • Define AI best practices, tech stack, and development workflows for the team.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and client-centric AI delivery.

  • Own Client AI Strategy

  • Translate client requirements into AI-powered solutions (e.g., "Automate invoice processing" → Build an Agentic AI system for document extraction + approval routing).

  • Act as the trusted AI advisor to clients: Demystify Agentic AI, set realistic expectations, and quantify ROI.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery: From discovery and prototyping to deployment and iteration.

  • Design Agentic AI & Workflow Automation Systems

  • Architect autonomous AI agents that make decisions, execute tasks, and adapt to dynamic environments (e.g., customer support agents, supply chain optimizers).

  • Integrate AI into workflow automation: Enhance existing Ackrolix services (ERP, intranets, marketing) with intelligent, self-improving processes.
  • Leverage OpenAI models, LangChain, AutoGen, or similar frameworks for agent orchestration.

  • Implement event-driven architectures, state machines, and API-driven automation (n8n, Zapier, custom solutions).

  • Technical Execution

  • Develop production-grade AI systems using Python, FastAPI, , and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Optimize for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency (token management, model fine-tuning).
  • Ensure AI solutions align with Ackrolix's user-centered design principles (collaborate with UI/UX teams).

Qualifications & SkillsMust-Have Technical Expertise

  • 7+ years in software development, with 3+ years building Agentic AI or advanced workflow automation systems.
  • Agentic AI Mastery:
  • Experience with multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, or LLM-based decision-making.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom agent architectures.
  • Workflow Automation Pro:
  • Built solutions using n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
  • Integrated AI into business process automation (e.g., ERP workflows, CRM automation).
  • AI Stack:
  • OpenAI models (GPT-4, embeddings, fine-tuning), vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma), prompt engineering.
  • Python (FastAPI/Flask), JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, cloud deployment.
  • System Design: Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

Leadership & Client Skills

  • Team Building: Proven success hiring/mentoring technical teams (ideally from scratch).
  • Client-Facing AI: Experience translating business needs into AI solutions and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to define an AI roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Communication: Explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences (clients, leadership).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ERP/intranet development or marketing automation.
  • Knowledge of design principles for AI interfaces.
  • Familiarity with MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow) and AI ethics.
