Job Title: Legal Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Consultant to provide expert advice and guidance on legal matters affecting our organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of corporate, civil, and labor laws, with the ability to assess risks, draft legal documents, and ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on various business and operational matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure company policies and business activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings or coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, reports, and legal opinions.
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Advise management on corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions, and labor issues.
  • Handle documentation related to regulatory filings, licenses, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of new laws, amendments, and judicial rulings relevant to the business.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or higher (LLM preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Legal Consultant, Corporate Lawyer, or Legal Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, labor law, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in corporate or commercial law firms.
  • Membership of Bar Council or similar legal association.
  • Familiarity with drafting and vetting of legal notices, MoUs, NDAs, and vendor agreements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹16,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 per week
