Bar Staff

The Bar Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by serving drinks and light snacks in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. They ensure that guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience at the bar or lounge area by taking orders, delivering beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take beverage and snack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and tables.
• Ensure all beverages are served according to health and safety regulations.
• Provide recommendations and up-sell drinks and promotions when appropriate.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
• Assist in stock inventory and replenishment when necessary.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Cooperate with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all bar opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a bar, lounge, or restaurant is preferred.
• Good knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (as per local laws).
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift trays with drinks or food (up to 25 lbs).
• Manual dexterity to operate bar and POS equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
