About the RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the product, from concept to production to end-of-life. This includes detailed design, documentation, review, testing coordination, and continuous improvement.

The role involves direct interaction with global teams and customers. This is a hybrid role (remote WFH) and requires working in US time zones. Key ResponsibilitiesCheck, review, and approve design drawings submitted by the team

Create part, assembly, and detailed drawings using SolidWorksDevelop and maintain complete and accurate drawing packages

Manage and update Bills of Material (BOMs)Support procurement in component selection and specification

Coordinate across internal departments including manufacturing and quality

Perform concept/design/manufacturing reviews and participate in testing, safety, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting reviews with the customer

Conduct DFMEA or equivalent risk assessments for new designs

Acquire and maintain knowledge in functional specifications, design intent, and latest industry trends relevant to client product lines

Apply GD&T standards effectively in design documentation

Support the design team with cost optimization and value engineering using FAST or similar techniques

Collaborate closely with project engineers and support them in meeting deadlines

Identify and resolve design-related production issues

Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 4 years of experience in 3D CAD and mechanical design (SolidWorks required)Strong foundation in sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and GD&TExperience in refrigeration or HVAC industry is a strong plus

Exposure to Value Engineering / Cost Optimization is desirable

Excellent communication skills, highly proactive and detail-oriented

Open to US timezone working hours
