Job Specification

  • Support the Group Entity Accounting Manager in the production of the monthly management accounts and the month end close for group entities
  • Responsible for month end close process in line with wider group which includes the following:
  • Preparation and posting of monthly journals,
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register,
  • Accounts payable management
  • Analysis of revenue and determination of revenue accruals,
  • Balancing intercompany loan accounts,
  • Analysis of trial balance and general ledger with corrections if required,
  • Balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Tax computations and related journal entries.
  • Preparation of management accounts;
  • Responsibility for annual financial statements
  • Prepare information for statutory audits;
  • Queries from internal departments as well as external parties

Skills desirable

  • Recently qualified (CA, ACCA or similar)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar, relevant role(s)
  • Strong foundation in MS Excel/PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and regional GAAP differences
  • Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team
  • Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • Workday experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
