We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort and Spa. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing high-quality menus for banquets and events.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of food safety and presentation.
- Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality food presentation and service.
