We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager / AVP BI & Analytics to lead our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau (including Tableau Administration), data visualization, and advanced Excel analytics, along with proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of 15–20 BI professionals. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical proficiency and the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a BI & Analytics team of 15–20 members, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end BI development — from data extraction, transformation, and visualization to insight generation and stakeholder presentation.
  • Manage Tableau environment administration, including user management, performance optimization, server maintenance, and governance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems and reports.
  • Drive automation and process improvements in reporting and analytics functions.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance management for the BI team.
  • Stay up to date with emerging BI tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Work closely with IT and Data Engineering teams to ensure smooth data integration and availability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Tableau (Development & Administration).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, dashboards, Power Query, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing BI environments in large-scale or BPO/ITES organizations is an advantage.
