General Duties:

  • Operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Set up workpieces, tooling, and fixtures based on job requirements.
  • Perform basic program edits and adjustments.
  • Conduct first article inspection and in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Monitor machine operation for irregularities and perform corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company protocols.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience for 3-axis, 2-4 years for 4-axis, and 4+ years for 5-axis operations.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, G-code, and M-code.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality control procedures.
