Role & responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents including Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, MOUs, Development Agreements, Lease Agreements, etc.
  • Conducting title due diligence and preparing title search reports for land/property acquisitions.
  • Managing RERA compliance, registrations, and updates for ongoing and new projects.
  • Handling legal aspects related to land acquisition and project approvals.
  • Representing the company in legal proceedings such as civil, criminal, consumer, and arbitration matters.
  • Liaising with external law firms, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Maintaining legal MIS, tracking litigation, and ensuring timely closure of legal issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and central laws applicable to real estate projects.

Providing legal opinions and risk assessments to internal departments (Sales, CRM, Projects, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

  • LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
  • Minimum years of experience in real estate law (preferably with a developer or legal firm handling real estate clients).
  • Strong knowledge of property laws, RERA, MOFA, stamp duty, registration, and land laws in Maharashtra.
  • Proficient in English and Marathi, with strong communication and drafting skills.
  • Ability to handle legal due diligence and documentation independently.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
