Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Professional with strong expertise in real estate laws and property documentation. The ideal candidate will manage legal documentation, compliance, and due diligence processes while providing strategic legal support for property transactions and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and vet a wide range of legal documents including:

  • Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, MOUs, Development Agreements, Lease Agreements, etc.

  • Conduct comprehensive title due diligence and prepare title search reports for land/property acquisitions.

  • Manage RERA compliance, including project registration, updates, and documentation.
  • Handle legal aspects related to land acquisition, project approvals, and clearances.
  • Represent the company in civil, criminal, consumer, and arbitration proceedings as required.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external law firms, legal consultants, and government authorities.
  • Maintain and update Legal MIS, track litigation, and ensure timely resolution of legal cases.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and central laws applicable to real estate projects.
  • Provide legal opinions, risk assessments, and advisory support to internal departments such as Sales, CRM, Projects, and Operations.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
  • 3 - 8 years of experience in real estate law, preferably with a developer or law firm specializing in real estate clients.

  • In-depth knowledge of:

  • Property Laws, RERA, MOFA, Stamp Duty, Registration, and Land Laws in Maharashtra.

  • Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills in English and Marathi.

  • Ability to conduct legal due diligence and documentation independently.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
