Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement

  • Prepare procurement plans aligned with project timelines.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors for high-risespecific materials (faade systems, MEP materials, elevators, structural steel, concrete, etc.).
  • Issue RFQs, compare quotations, and prepare technical & commercial comparison sheets.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions.
  • Ensure procurement complies with project specifications, budget, and quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery to support site progress.

2. Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and administer contracts for subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with FIDIC or project-specific contract conditions.
  • Identify potential contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare contract amendments, variations, extensions, and claims documentation.
  • Coordinate with legal teams for contract approvals and dispute resolution.

3. Cost & Commercial Management

  • Support cost estimation and budgeting for high-rise building packages.
  • Track procurement costs and compare them with BOQ and budget limits.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain procurement logs, contract registers, and cost-tracking systems.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise closely with design, MEP, structural, and site teams to ensure material requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical or contractual issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and report procurement & contract statuses.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 4–10+ years of experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in high-rise building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, and high-rise building systems.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel (SAPMM) and procurement tools.
