Sales & Inventory Analyst / Purchase Analyst

Role & responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze sales data from e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), B2B orders, marketplaces, and retail POS systems.
- Monitor SKU-level sales performance to identify top sellers, slow movers, and seasonal demand patterns.
- Forecast product demand based on historical data, promotions, and seasonal trends.
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) to ensure optimal stock levels without overstocking.
- Track inbound shipments and update arrival timelines to prevent stock-outs.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and product teams for aligned purchasing decisions.
- Maintain product master data, pricing, and reorder points in ERP (Zoho preferred).
- Generate weekly/monthly sales & inventory reports for management.
- Push slow-moving SKUs through proactive sales coordination.
Preferred candidate profile
- Sales analysis, demand planning, procurement, or inventory management (FMCG/Retail/Pet Industry preferred).
- Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, charts).
- Knowledge of ERP or inventory systems (Zoho Inventory, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with data-to-decision capabilities.
- Good understanding of product lifecycle & seasonal demand.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
