Role Overview:
At AgroStar, an Assistant Territory Manager plays a crucial role in driving the company's revenue, managing teams, communicating our value proposition, and ensuring effective channel development and management within the defined territory. He/She is responsible for achieving sales targets, training teams, tracking performance, and providing valuable insights for business planning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue and growth by achieving sales targets for our Agri-Inputs business across categories like Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements in the defined territory.
- Analyze market trends, and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in your territory
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful marketing campaigns and drive demand.
- Supervise Sales Managers and Expansion Managers to drive revenue and Saathi partner onboarding
- Regularly monitor progress, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement for your team
- Work with and train the Saathi partners on product placement of AgroStar products in their outlets.
- Establish short and long-term goals for the territory and strategies to achieve the same,
- Responsible for Collections from the Saathi partners
- Collate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
Qualifications:
- Graduation in BSc agriculture or related field is mandatory
- Should have at least 4+ years of Sales experience in the Agriculture industry.
- Ability to multitask
- Clear and effective decision-making, with an emphasis on a data-driven approach.
- Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Should have managed a sales team before
Must have complete knowledge of the local areas of the District
Should be open to travel at least 60% to 80 % of the time with a limited overnight stay.
