Role & responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
  • Define and maintain architectural standards, roadmaps, and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and oversee integration strategies between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., Azure AD, Oracle, CMDBs, APIs)
  • Lead the development and customization of ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, or custom applications.
  • Implement ServiceNow workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies/actions, ACLs, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Manage version upgrades, patch management, and release management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, operations, and business units.

    Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, configuration management practices, and development lifecycle processes.

    Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and architecture roles.
  • Expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, HRSD, SecOps, or CSM).
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), APIs (REST/SOAP), MID Server, and web technologies (HTML, CSS,
  • AngularJS).
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using Integration Hub, Flow Designer, or custom APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps tools.
