Guides a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets, often by managing their performance, coaching them, and implementing sales strategies
Core Responsibilities:
- Leading and motivating a team of sales representatives.
- Monitoring team performance, setting goals, and providing feedback and coaching to improve individual and team outcomes.
- Developing and implementing sales plans, strategies, and tactics to achieve sales targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. .
- Working with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure aligned goals and effective communication.
- Tracking and analyzing sales performance data, creating reports, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Typically requires experience in sales, with some experience in a leadership or management role.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical or outside sales roles.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
