JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure products comply with FSSAI, FDA, Codex, or other relevant national/international regulations.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of food safety, labeling, and packaging laws.
  • Prepare and review product dossiers, technical files, and submission documents for regulatory approvals.
  • Product Registration & Approvals
  • Handle product registration applications with government authorities and maintain timely follow-ups.
  • Ensure approvals are obtained before launch and renewals are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality teams for necessary documentation.
  • Labeling & Documentation
  • Review product labels for compliance with regulations (ingredients, nutritional information, claims, allergen declarations).
  • Maintain a repository of regulatory documents, approvals, certificates, and licenses.
  • Internal Coordination & Support
  • Advise marketing, quality, and production teams on regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for teams on compliance matters.
  • Support audits, inspections, and certifications.
  • Monitoring & Reporting
  • Keep track of regulatory changes and assess their impact on products.
  • Prepare periodic reports on compliance status, product approvals, and any regulatory issues.
  • Liaise with consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: - RA/ in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in Regulatory Affairs in the food, nutraceutical, or FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge: FSSAI regulations, FDA requirements, Codex standards, labeling, claims, and product approvals.
