Job Title: Public Relations Officer (English Press) Location: Chennai Department: Group Marketing & Communications Reports To: Group Marketing Officer / Communications Director Role Overview: The PRO (English Press) manages all English-language media relations — from press releases and statements to interviews and media briefings. This role ensures accurate, strategic, and timely dissemination of the Group's message to the press. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with English-language journalists and editors. Draft and distribute press releases, statements, and op-eds. Coordinate media briefings, interviews, and events. Monitor coverage and prepare daily/weekly media reports. Leverage AI tools for media scanning, sentiment tracking, and draft optimization. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Public Relations. 3–5 years of experience in corporate or media-facing PR roles. Excellent written and spoken English; strong media network preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile: A proactive communicator with journalistic instincts and an ability to navigate media dynamics effectively.
