Roles and Responsibilities :-

  • Prepare detailed electrical drawings including power and lighting layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Interpret electrical engineering designs, specifications, and technical drawings to produce accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent, project standards, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before issue.
  • Manage drawing revisions, version control, and document control as per project requirements.
  • Provide technical drafting support by resolving drawing-related queries and clarifying design details.
  • Adhere to electrical drafting standards, best practices, and safety guidelines.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry standards and AutoCAD advancements to improve drafting efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile :-

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, preferably in electrical control panel and industrial electrical design.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design methodologies.
  • Good understanding of electrical engineering principles, standards, and applicable codes.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
