We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical system design, preferably within water supply and wastewater management projects, and be well-versed in HT/LT system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review detailed electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics for industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Design HT/LT electrical distribution systems, motor control centers (MCC), power and lighting layouts, earthing systems, and cable routing.
  • Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, and equipment sizing.
  • Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for interdisciplinary design integration.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Indian standards (IS), IEC, and IEEE codes.
  • Support the project team during installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical queries.
  • Conduct site visits when required to support design validation and troubleshooting.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in water supply and wastewater treatment plant electrical design preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HT/LT systems, transformer selection, panel design, protection systems, and energy efficiency.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team environment.
