AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Functional Safety Engineer .

As a Functional Safety Engineer in our global Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the relevant safety standards for our products. In this role, you are responsible for creating the functional and technical safety requirements and addressing them to the other parties involved in the development process. You also responsible to coordinate the fulfilment of the safety requirements between the teams.

Your Impact

  • Support of product development from initial evaluation through the entire development cycle including system evaluation and series release in accordance with common safety standards (e.g. ISO ISO 26262 etc.)
  • Create functional and technical safety concepts for agricultural machinery in accordance with the relevant standards (ISO 25119/ ISO 13849/ISO · Definition, coordination and optimization of all safety-related requirements in development
  • Supports or carries out risk analyses (HARA) of technical systems
  • Supports or carries out risk analyses (HARA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, Reliability) of technical systems

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or comparable education
  • First professional experience in the field of functional safety
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work in a team and a self-confident appearance
  • Strong mediative skills and high communication skills Experience in casting design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
