We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Accounting to lead our financial operations in both the Indian and US markets.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Manager, Accounting, skilled in managing financial operations for both US and Indian markets, including bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, tax planning, and GST compliance. The role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional capable of managing various financial tasks and ensuring compliance with governmental regulations in both countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bookkeeping activities for both US and Indian operations using tools such as Xero, Gusto, and Zoho Books.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards in both the US and India.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, providing regular reports and forecasts for both markets.
  • Lead strategic tax planning and preparation, complying with local, state, and governmental regulations in the US and India.
  • Ensure GST compliance for Indian operations and equivalent tax compliance for US operations.
  • Supervise accounts receivable processes in both countries to ensure efficient collection and recording.
  • Implement and uphold financial controls and policies applicable in both the US and India.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance financial procedures and efficiency in both markets.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decisions in both the US and Indian contexts.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on bookkeeping, payroll, and taxation for both US and Indian markets.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Gusto, and Zoho Books.
  • Extensive knowledge of GST regulations in India and corresponding tax regulations in the US.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
