- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet high standards for taste, consistency, and presentation.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Uphold strict food safety and sanitation regulations, keeping the tandoor section and kitchen clean and organized.
- Inventory & Supplies: Manage inventory of tandoori ingredients and supplies, assisting with orders as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Menu Development: May assist in planning and developing new tandoori dishes and recipes.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or in a similar Indian cuisine role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tandoori cooking techniques, marination, and food presentation.
- Culinary Knowledge: In-depth understanding of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and cooking methods.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
- Compliance: Adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures
