Autonomous contributor to handle contract negotiation support, compliance frameworks, due diligence reviews, and audit readiness.---
Key Responsibilities
· Review, redline, and negotiate standard contracts
· Conduct risk assessments for client/vendor engagements
· Lead due diligence and security questionnaires
· Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO, DPDP)
· Support internal policy creation
· Handle escalations with minimal supervision
· Recommend improvements to legal & compliance processes---
Qualifications: -
· BA LLB / BBA LLB from a reputed law school
· Strong research and writing skills
· Basic understanding of contract law
· Interest in compliance and information security frameworks
· High attention to detail; ability to work under timelines
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge (What the Intern Should Know)
· Basic principles of Contract Law (Indian Contract Act)
· Understanding of common commercial contracts such as NDAs, SLAs, DPAs, MSAs
· Fundamental awareness of Data Protection & Privacy laws (DPDP Act – basics)
· Introductory knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 / ISO 9001 – awareness level)
· Familiarity with legal documentation standards and terminology
· Basic understanding of corporate governance and in-house legal functions
