Job Title: L2 Network Engineer

Location: OLP, Lower Parel, Mumbai

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to manage and support daily network operations. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices while ensuring seamless network performance and security across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2-level support for network incidents and service requests.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manage LAN/WAN connectivity, VLANs, and IP addressing schemes.
  • Monitor network performance using standard tools and take proactive measures to ensure uptime.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for connectivity issues and escalation management.
  • Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
  • Implement and adhere to network security standards; assist in firewall rule configuration and updates.
  • Participate in network upgrades, patching, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in network support or administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent networking devices.
  • Hands-on experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Sound understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and subnetting.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • CCNA certification preferred; CCNP certification is an added advantage.
