Client: ANZ (Internet Banking Platform)

Location: Bangalore – Acacia, Manyata Tech Park

Experience: 8–12 Years (Senior Level)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Extendable)

Budget: Up to ₹36 LPA

Shift: General (Day Shift, Hybrid Model)

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient systems within ANZ's Internet Banking Platform. You'll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values autonomy, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, BAs, designers, and product owners to design robust technical solutions.

  • Build and maintain microservices and APIs using modern backend technologies.

  • Work in a "build it and run it" DevOps environment, taking ownership of development, deployment, and support.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability and faster delivery.

  • Influence engineering best practices around clean code, automation, testing, and continuous delivery.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance for scalability and resilience.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and collaboration within the engineering team.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Programming & Frameworks:

  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservice development.

  • Hands-on experience with , ES6, or TypeScript (preferred).

Microservices & API Development:

  • Expertise in designing and maintaining REST APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with Kafka, message queues, and API integration using REST/JSON.

  • Solid understanding of API testing – Unit, Integration, TDD/BDD, mocking, and stubbing.

Database & OS:

  • Good knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.

  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

DevOps & Automation:

  • Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

  • Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Cloud Platforms:

  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture best practices.

  • Experience with test automation and continuous delivery pipelines.

  • Exposure to agile development methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹1,944,479.67 per year
