Towards that we are looking for seasoned software engineers, with a penchant for systems thinking, who love to ideate, experiment, tinker, design and harness tech to build stuff that users love.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Java Software Engineer at Pivotrics in Bengaluru. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementation of complex product features for a payment system. This will involve creating and maintaining features for a complex payment system developed using Java. You will be required to understand the given requirement, perform high level gap analysis, propose solutions to senior architects and deliver high quality product that will enhance customer experience. You will also contribute to design discussions, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior team members.Participate in product and implementation designTake full ownership of product modulesEnsure to deliver functionally complete product with good qualityBe a good team player and contribute to creating a good work cultureContribute to sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, dependency & risk management.Implement dev process in genuine spirit, with a mindset of continuous improvement.Ideate, suggest to tech folks and also engineering/business management.Deepen tech & domain knowledge to be contributing to product IP.Enjoy the process of creating a productQualificationsMandatory- Minimum 4+ years of experience in software developmentStrong experience in Software Design, Development, and ProgrammingAbility to develop product feature from high level requirementStrong analytical skill and ability to quickly learn the domain and product functionalities.Past experience in implementing product features and performing gap analysis.Excellent grasp of OOPs, Component Technology and Design PatternsFluent in programming with Java on Unix platform with any industry standard databaseAbility to write clean, maintainable, and efficient codeExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsGood understanding of software design principles and patternsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldNOTE : Please REFRAIN from SENDING PERSONAL MESSAGES.
