SAP e-Commerce Developer

We are seeking SAP Commerce experienced, dedicated and passionate Software Developer who can join the ZTD team to support and continuously improve the commerce solution for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the implementation of SAP Commerce (Hybris)-based eCommerce solutions under the guidance of more experienced team members or project leads. This involves configuring out-of-the-box Hybris features, setting up storefronts, and integrating with backend systems.

• Contributing to the development of custom features, extensions, and integrations within the SAP Commerce framework. This may include developing code, creating custom extensions, and extending existing functionalities to meet specific business requirements.

• Collaborating with frontend developers and designers to implement user interface (UI) designs and enhance the user experience of Hybris storefronts. This could involve working with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.

• Configuring data models, product catalogs, pricing rules, and promotion engines within the Hybris platform to support the eCommerce business processes. This includes defining product attributes, categories, and relationships, as well as configuring pricing and discount rules.

• Assisting in the integration of SAP Commerce with external systems such as SAP ERP and other integrations. This involves developing integration code, configuring middleware components, and testing data exchange between systems.

• Participating in testing activities such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP Commerce implementations.

• Documenting technical specifications, configuration settings, and development guidelines to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure consistency across projects. This may involve creating user manuals, developer guides, and training materials.

• Identifying and resolving technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in current implementations. This includes analyzing log files, debugging code, and working with support teams or vendors to address complex issues.

• Assisting in the deployment of SAP Commerce applications to production environments and managing release cycles. This involves coordinating with DevOps teams, performing release validations, and ensuring smooth rollout of new features and updates.

• Staying updated on the latest SAP Commerce features, best practices, and industry trends through self-study, training courses, and participation in SAP community forums and events.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

• 3+ years of experience developing SAP Commerce applications performing frontend and backend development.

• Certification in SAP Hybris Development is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Hands on development experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) CCV2 1905 and higher

• Strong knowledge of SAP Hybris development
o Java technologies and design patterns: EJB, JMS, JSP, and Java Servlets
o Framework: Spring
o Database technology: JDBC, spring JDBC
o Server: Apache web server, Hybris Tomcat cluster environment

• Strong knowledge of SAP Hybris components
o PCM, Search and Browse, Cart, Checkout, Order orchestration, workflow & promotions.

• Hands on experience with JSON, XML, RESTful, SOAP architectures

• Hands on experience with JAM stack, HTML5, dHTML, Stylesheets (CSS), JavaScript, jQuery and respective browser compatibility issues (Firefox, Safari, Chrome & Microsoft Edge).

• Hands on experience with JavaScript frameworks – Bootstrap, Angular, React, or

• Having experience with Spartacus integration with OCC layer

• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI).

• Comfortable using tools such as Git, Sonar, Kibana and Dynatrace

• Knowledge of development life cycle best practices including version control, QA, build/release management, CI and regression testing.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, BAPI integration with SAP ERP system for real time calls and Asynchronous Order Management connecting with SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.

• Working knowledge of web analytics solutions such as Google analytics is a plus.

• Good understanding about Hybris Tomcat cluster environment, Apache web server, and CDN

• Overall experience working with e-commerce systems development in a large, corporate environment.

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a fast-paced Scrum environment.

• Ability to work in a globally distributed environment.

• Good track-record of executing in a dynamic, team-based environment.

• Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing.
