Job Description :Responsibilities :

  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
  • Execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Perform thorough root cause analysis of defects and provide clear and concise defect reports.
  • Design and execute test plans for complex software systems.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Participate in requirements review and design review meetings.
  • Provide feedback on usability and user experience.
  • Implement and maintain testing documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding test results and defect status.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA analysts.
  • Work within Agile development environments.
  • Perform in depth Regression testing on new releases, and patches.
  • Work with performance testing team to ensure that the application is meeting performance requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and its domain.
  • Provide domain expertise to the team and contribute to product improvement.

Qualifications :Experience :

  • 7-11 years of experience in manual software quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Technical Skills :

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
  • Experience with web application testing.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Industry-specific domain knowledge.
  • Relevant certifications (ISTQB).
