Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and strong foundations in Data Structures and Algorithms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that support our core business platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

- Build and maintain microservices that are scalable, secure, and performant.

- Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to technical decisions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews to maintain code quality.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD workflows.

- Ensure systems are built with a focus on high availability, resilience, and observability.

- Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems efficiently.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

- Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

- Solid experience in designing and developing microservices.

- Proficient in Data Structures, Algorithms, and problem-solving.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture.

- Previous experience in high-traffic or fintech/e-commerce platforms is a plus.

- Open-source contributions or certifications in Java or Spring technologies.
