Duration of the position

One year or up to the termination of project, subject to Annual Performance Review

Emoluments

Rs. 31,000/- (for the first 2 years) HRA @ 16 PERCENT per month
As per the MoC Norms

Essential Qualifications

First class in M.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanotechnology/ Material Science)/ M.Tech. (Nanotechnology/ Material Science) with minimum 60 PERCENT marks (or equivalent CGPA) with GATE/CSIR- NET or equivalent examination.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with expertise in the synthesis of nanomaterials and their composites for gas sensing applications, characterization of nanoparticles and their composites will be preferred.
The candidates having 1-2 years of Research experience in Industry or Research Laboratory is preferred.

Age Limit

28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Note: Candidates interested in extending their JRF position to Ph.D. will be preferred. Candidates may subsequently register for Ph.D. programme at the Amity Institute for Advanced Research and Studies (Materials & Devices), Amity University, Sector-125, Noida-201303, if she/he fulfils the required criteria.
