Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Research Associate (RA) in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on contractual basis as per the following details.

  • Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Research Associate (RA) (As Sanctioned)
  • Number of Vacancy: 1
  • Project Title: Appraisal of raised synthetic autotetraploids of multipurpose dioecious Seabuckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides subsp. turkestanica and H. salicifolia) for genetic improvement and hermaphrodism.

  • Essential Qualification:
    • As per CSIR Guidelines for Research Scheme/Sponsored Schemes/Emeritus Scientist. Pl. refer to CSIR-HRDG website:
    • SRF- M.S.c, BE, BTech, BVSc, B Pharm, or equivalent degree, and at least two years of post-MSc,BE, B Tech, BVSc, B Pharm, research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals;
    • ME, M Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology;
    • MBBS or BDS, with 1 year internship/MVSc/M Pharm or equivalent.
    • RA-Doctorate(PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M Pharm/ME/M Tech.
  • Age Limit:
    • SRF-32YRS
    • RA-35YRS
  • Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
  • Fellowship:
    • Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-Rs 42,000/-p.m.,
    • Research Associate (RA)- Rs 58,000/-, 61,000/- or 67,000/-p.m.
