1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience
2. Good knowledge of Computer, English typing, MS Excel, MS Word, Letter Drafting & Basic Tally

A Data Entry Operator's primary responsibility is to accurately input, update, and maintain data in computer systems and databases. This involves transcribing information from physical or digital sources, verifying its accuracy, correcting errors, and organizing records. Key duties include managing databases, ensuring data confidentiality, generating reports, and performing regular backups. 
 
Core responsibilities
  • Data input and updates: Enter, update, and maintain data in various computer systems and databases accurately and efficiently.
  • Data verification and correction: Review information for accuracy and consistency, identify errors or discrepancies, and make necessary corrections.
  • Transcription: Convert data from physical documents, paper records, or voice recordings into digital formats.
  • Record management: Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems, archives, and databases.
  • Report generation: Create and export spreadsheets, documents, and data reports as needed for other departments or analysis.
  • Data integrity and security: Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and comply with data integrity policies.
  • Data backup: Perform regular data backups to prevent loss and ensure data integrity. 
 
Required skills
  • Typing: Excellent typing speed and accuracy are essential for efficient data entry.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous eye for detail is crucial for identifying and correcting errors.
  • Computer proficiency: Proficiency with computer applications, especially the Microsoft Office Suite (like Excel and Word), and various databases is often required.
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to manage tasks and records effectively.
