Job Summary:
Collaborate with the business team to understand problems, objectives, and desired outcomes. Build ML/Statistical solutions to achieve the outcomes. Work closely with various teams in Bangalore and the US.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to assess data science use cases & solutions
• Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business goals
• Build custom data models with an initial focus on content classification
• Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Build necessary visualizations to interpret data models by business teams
• Work closely with the engineering team to integrate models into production systems.
• Monitor model performance in production and make improvements as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI. Review relevant research literature and apply applicable methodologies or insights to address the problem effectively.
• Mentor junior data scientists

Mandatory Skills

• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with 3+ years of experience in ML/Data Science/Predictive-Analytics
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with standard data science tools and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scipy, NLTK, Spark, Docker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn, etc.).
• Experience or understanding of deploying machine learning models in production on at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs API (OpenAI, Hugging Face) and ability to craft effective prompts to guide LLMs towards desired outputs.
• A creative knack for solving hard problems in statistics, machine learning, and optimization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and adept at working with multiple stakeholders
• Writing clear and concise technical reports

Good To Have

• Experience in the Media domain
• Familiarity with vector databases like Milvus
• E-commerce or taxonomy classification experience
